Blerp Community Guidelines
Blerp is the audio expression engine that allows users to use soundbites to enhance every moment. Through Blerp’s platform and integrations, you can discover, create and share the best audio clips. We encourage you to explore our library and create the perfect soundboard for you. While some Blerps may not be for you, you should never feel harassed or threatened by any Blerp. Expressing yourself is very personal, and we all do it differently. We at Blerp want to ensure an expectation of respect and safety on our platform, which is why we request that all users be respectful to the privacy and safety of others. We strive to provide a fun and enjoyable search experience for all users, regardless of age, background, personal tastes or anything else; this is why we rate our content and allow users the right to opt-in to our safe search experience by changing which ratings they want to be displayed or excluded.
Rule 1 | Respect timing
Timing is key - perfectly timing a Blerp can make or break a moment. But not at the expense of others. Likewise, a poorly-timed Blerp used in poor taste can ruin a moment, a day, or an entire relationship. Using Blerps to marginalize, promote hate, harass, or threaten is strictly forbidden. Attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people is not allowed. Everyone has a right to use Blerp free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. Communities and users that incite violence or that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.
Rule 2 | No hate speech
Slurs, disrespectful language, insulting language and any other form of hate speech aimed at people of a certain race, sexual orientation, or lifestyle is not allowed.
Rule 3 | Keep the kids out of it
Posting or encouraging the posting of suggestive or sexually explicit content involving minors is expressly forbidden and will result in swift action being taken against the perpetrator.
Rule 4 | Be yourself
You can have a fun username and still be yourself; impersonating an individual or entity that does not belong to you is not allowed.
Rule 5 | Create good conent
Everyone doesn't have to enjoy the same content, but properly labeling your Blerps and soundboards will help others immediately understand what content they contain, especially if that content is graphic, violent, sexually explicit, or offensive.
Rule 6 | Don't break stuff
Don't intentionally break the site, mess with the back-end, or do anything that interferes with the use of Blerp. Just don't do it.
We have a variety of ways of enforcing our rules, including, but not limited to:
Changing the rating of a Blerp to match the content it contains
Asking you nicely to edit your content to follow our guidelines
Temporary or permanent suspension of accounts
Removal of privileges from, or adding restrictions to, accounts
Adding restrictions to soundboards, such as adding NSFW tags
Removal of content
By following our content policies, you keep Blerp a fun and respectful environment where we can all share, create, discover, and enhance every moment.
