Hey everyone! We just released our newest update to the Twitch extension. Here's a quick overview of the biggest new changes. New Viewer Panel With this update, we wanted content that is featured to be stuck to a specific place so viewers can familiarize themself with the content and be able to access it as quickly as possible. What does this mean for you as a streamer? You can now feature collections and individual blerps to specific spaces on your panel. You can have up to 5 pages of content!

Blerp 3.0 Update

Earlier this year, we started a new marketing campaign that involved making Blerps from clips of top creators who found success using our platform. The goal of the campaign was to help viewers and broadcasters see the power of creating new content for their channel.&nbsp;As part of this campaign, much of the created content was unsolicited and some was rightfully received poorly by our users. We created content for broadcasters as a form of outreach without consent, which was clearly a mistake. When we were made aware of how this was impacting creators, we took down this content as quickly as possible. In the future, we will help users make unique content only when they actively reach out to us for assistance. The users themselves will review the Blerps with us and have the final say before they can be made public. We are working harder to make sure Blerp is a safe place for your content. Our first step towards this path is a new unlisted mode that allows you to create a soundboard that only you and your community can view on Blerp. The next step will be adding even more options for you to control which communities can share your content. We absorbed feedback related to both our outreach campaign as well as our initial response to the criticism. We are shifting resources from outreach to focus on building the success and partnerships of our current streamers. This has been a time for major learning and reflection for us as a team. We are grateful for those who rightfully pointed out how we can do better and who hold us accountable.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; We apologize to all who have been negatively impacted by our actions and have sent direct apologies to individuals. How to seperate music from your VODS while streaming! 

Earning revenue with Blerp Subject to Twitch’s legal terms and policies, the streamer receives 80% and Blerp receives 20%. Bits earned via Blerp can take 1-2 days to reflect on your Twitch channel analytics. Third-party platforms like Streamlabs will not be able to track your bit revenue from Blerp because we are not integrated with Streamlabs.&nbsp;

*Note: if you don’t see Blerp audio in your audio mixer, right-click Blerp in your sources and select “properties” check “control audio via OBS” and select “Ok” Streamlabs OBS Check if the Streamlabs OBS audio mixer of the Blerp browser source is set to “monitor + output”. Select the gear icon in your “Mixer” tab, this will pull up your Advanced Audio Settings. Select the Blerp source to expand your settings. Change the Audio Monitoring to “Monitor and Output” and close window.

If you don’t, turn that on and try to reload the browser source to make sure everything is updated.Make sure to press “save” after you’ve changed your settings. Second potential fix, Monitoring Device. OBS Studio Open your OBS settings and go to “Audio”. Check if your monitor audio output device is set to your standard device. Could be your headset, speakers, voicemeeter, etc. Streamlabs OBS ﻿Select the gear icon next to Blerp audio in mixer and head over to properties. Select “Global Settings” and under “Audio Monitoring Device” select your standard device. (headset, speakers, voicemeeter, etc.)
